Artist Reception for two new exhibitions: Ani Afshar: Woven Gardens, Shredded Shadows, Gallery 4 Melissa Oresky: Trail, Gallery 5 Meet both of the artists and celebrate the opening of their latest solo exhibitions respectively. Refreshments will be served.

Hairy Blob exhibition event: Free concert by members of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Music (AACM), 2-3 pm The installation by Faheem Majeed, "Planting and Maintaining a Perennial Garden," included in the current exhibition Hairy Blob will be re-envisioned to serve as performance space for a musical performance by Douglas R. Ewart and Quasar, members of AACM at 2pm,Cleve Carney Gallery.
