Gallery 400, a not-for-profit arts presenter and exhibition space at the University of Illinois at Chicago, was founded in 1983 to exhibit and support excellence and innovation in contemporary art, design and architecture. Our program includes consistently acclaimed exhibitions, lectures, and artist residencies. Drawing on their fertile context in a public educational institution, Gallery 400\'s exhibitions, lectures, and residencies collectively activate an dynamic interchange between artists, viewers, and exhibition strategies.
